I will get more pics. These pics were taken when Hope was an hour or two old. They do NOT do her justice. I am learning how to use a new camera aka my fault. Hope truly is a beautiful girl.

May 27th, 2007 - Cayenne has blessed us with an adorable red dun filly! Her benefactor named her Hope (which we love). She has a strong dorsal stripe and a precious spoon shaped blaze. Hope is a curious girl. We can pet and rub on her. Cayenne and Hope are both doing very well.

10 yr old auction mare being neglected - bred

Rescued April 6th, 2007

Cayenne is a gorgeous deep sorrel mare with a flaxen mane. She has a small jagged star on her forehead and a tiny bit of white on her off hind foot. She seems to be healthy with good weight. She does appear to be very in foal.

Cayenne gives the idea that she has been treated nicely at some time. Her bridle path was trimmed for the auction and she may have been body clipped. She is a quiet gentle mare tho we have no idea of her history.

A very generous benefactor purchased Cayenne to save her from a neglectful horse trader who openly stated foals were a nuisance and she didn't care of they lived or died. We were shocked at her attitude and saddened at all the horses we had to leave behind.

April 10, 2007 - Cayenne wormed & her feet trimmed without incident. She accepted it all with dignity & grace.
